Panathinaikos BC Superfoods announces the three years deal with Xavi Pascual.
Xavier Pascual (born September 9, 1972). On May 9, 2010, he became the youngest coach to manage to win the EuroLeague championship, and soon after, he also won the EuroLeague Coach of the Year Award.
The first team Pascual coached was Gavà (1990–91). Other teams he has coached are: Cornellà, Santfeliuenc, Olesa, and Aracena. In the 2004–05 season, Pascual moved to FC Barcelona, where became the head coach of the club's Liga EBA (Spanish 4th Division) farm team.
He then became the assistant head coach of the Spanish 1st Division team of FC Barcelona, in the 2005–06 season. When FC Barcelona's head coach at the time, Duško Ivanović, was fired in 2008, Pascual then became the club's head coach. On September 21, 2012, Pascual extended his contract with Barcelona until the end of 2014–15 season. On February 3, 2015, he extended his contract with Barcelona until the end of the 2016–17 season. After the end of 2015–16 season, Pascual leaved from FC Barcelona Lassa.
