Panathinaikos-Napredak Krusevac 92-76

Panathinaikos ended its series of friendly games in Serbia with yet another win. The last game against Napredak in Krusevac was sealed with the final 92-76.

“Greens” entered the game outscoring Napredak 11-0, but the local team fought back and managed to stay within 2 points by the half time. Zeljko Obradovic saw his players stepping strongly onto the court with a partial 12-0 and he also saw Shermadini scoring 21 of his total 27 points in the second half, getting too much help from his teammates too. Panathinaikos got away with 22 points (88-66, 38’), before the end of the game and the final 92-76.

Panathinaikos played without Sarunas Jasikevicius. Mike Batiste played only during the first half, while Drew Nicholas, Nikola Pekovic didn’t play. Zeljko Obradovic quoted after the game: “I am satisfied with all the work we’ve done so far. It was a very good period for us. We worked well and we worked hard. I have to say that the players from our U18 team helped us a lot, as well as Kommatos and Spanos. They were, all of them, absolute professionals and we thank them for a perfect cooperation”.
