Back to the court
Panathinaikos had the day off today, but tomorrow there is a double practice scheduled. Mike Batiste, Kostas Tsartsaris and Sarunas Jasikevicius won’t participate. On the contrary Yorgos Bogris is expected to get back on track with the rest of the team.
Dimitris Itoudis, after the last preparation game of the team against Peristeri on Saturday, stated: “The main problem are the injuries. We are forced to rehearse different schemes with Perperoglou or Shermadini playing as power forward for example. The game against Peristeri was a very important for us, we saw a lot of things, looking into the premiere of our official obligations for the new season. Our creation was in a high level, we had a lot of open shots, but we couldn’t find the target. The main thing we want and ask for is health. It’s something we all wished for even at the official presentation of our new jersey, a very well designed presentation. I think we have to congratulate all the people who work in the marketing department”.
