In their last match in the pre-season tournament, which is taking place in Mulhouse, France, Panathinaikos won to Bayern Munich Basket 85-75. Esteban Batista scored 19 points and became MVP of the tournament. Loukas Mavrokefalidis didn’t play at all. The team will return to Athens tomorrow (15/9) morning. Dusko Ivanovic departed for Barcelona for personal reason.

After the match head coach Dusko Ivanovic talked about his team: “We played well in all periods and this is very important. We had strength, we were aggressive and showed character. In defense we played well, however, we can still be improved. We have a long road and we must work hard.”
