The Greens refused to slow down. On the contrary, they performed even more effectively in the third quarter, the gap reached 21 points for the first time game recommencing (27-48), Brose Baskets attempted to return in the game, without managing however to gain much more than picking up the trail down to 15 points (40-55, 28’10’’). The fourth quarter had Jonas Maciulis’ name written all over it, who got all Panathinaikos players smiling and jumping to their feet to celebrate again and again, as he knocked down 5-for-5 nothing-but-net trifectas, starting at 31’27’’ and ending his streak at 35’, leading to 47-74. Argyris Pedoulakis cleared off his bench up to the end of the clash and all the way down the stretch to final game score 60-82.
