Djordjevic: "Very Hard Game"

The coach of Panathinaikos, Aleksandar Djordjevic, stated after the game against Crvena Zvezda: "Very hard game. We were ready mentally and physically and we guarded Zirbes well. But in the third quarter we played five minutes without energy and desire. It is so bad and in those moments Crvena Zvezda pushed by their fans blew us out of the court. The hosts had more energy and they won even though we managed to break their playmaker-center connection and limit their assists numbers. But Kinsey and Miller showed their individual quality as we played only 35 minutes. Those 5 minutes decided the winner."

Elliot Williams said: "In the second quarter we came on strong as we knew it would be physical game. Our intensity fell in the third. We came back in the fourth quarter, but it was not enough to win the game."
