The head coach of Panathinaikos Superfoods Athens, Xavi Pascual, stated after the game against Barcelona Lassa:
"First of all, I congratulate Barcelona on their victory. They were better. In the first quarter, the game was even. But after that, we played our worst game since I've been in Athens. Without rhythm or concentration. The truth is that we played a very bad game and as such Barça has been much better. They were very competitive. We were below the level we normally play at, and when you don't play well in this EuroLeague, you lose."
