Panathinaikos wasn't able to get the win in a packed with fans gym in Heraklio. Lokomotiv Kuban got the positive result and the final 69-72 in Crete sealed the game for the Euroleague, Day 4. It was the 200th game for the captain of the team, Dimitris Diamantidis.
Lokomotiv Kuban had the lead almost throughout the whole game. The Russian got up to a 12 points lead (41-53, 30'), Panathinaikos came back and got the lead with James Gist (66-65, 39'). Simon and Jasaitis got the game to 66-69 (39'47''). Diamantidis was there with an incredible three point shot to lead to a tie, 69-69, with 6'' on the clock. It was enough for Simon to rally for a long distance three pointer and for the final 69-72.
