Argyris Pedoulakis at the press conference after the game against Ikaros Chalkidas pointed out the fact that Panathinaikos didn't have to face another injury during the game. He also referred to his decision not to use Ramel Curry.
"Our first priority after of course the win, was to rotate our players and not to have another injury. Curry had an hematoma and he couldn't be a part of this rotation. During the third quarter we increased the intensity in defense and we finished the game. We are happy we didn't suffer yet another injury and that we managed to handle the time among the guards of the team".
Vassilis Charalampopoulos stated: "I want to say that I am very happy that I had the chance to play today. I would like to thank the coach for the time he gave me on the floor. I will try to become better through practices".
Aris Lykogiannis (coach, Ikaros) noted: "It was a difficult week with all the changes in coaching staff and the acquaintance with the players. We tried with a small rotation to make everything happen. We didn't use three of our six foreign players. And on top of all these we had to face Papanikolopoulos' injury who will be out for the rest of the season. I am happy for the efforts my players made throughout the game. We got tired in the second half. We had a good presence and I hope that we'll be healthy for the game against Ilissiakos. I wish Panathinaikos good luck".
Alex Vouyoukas (player, Ikaros) stated: "It was a tough week for us. We had a lot of injuries. I believe that we performed well today. Players who didn't have the chance to play a lot till now, played today and now we focus on our next very important game against Ilissiakos. I hope that everybody will come to help us. Nikos Papanikolopoulos had a serious injury and we all want to play for him too. He will certainly be in my mind".
