AX Armani Exchange Milan registered consecutive wins for the first time in more than two months after delivering its best offensive performance of the season, beating visiting Panathinaikos OPAP Athens 96-87 on Thursday night at Mediolanum Forum. Both teams now have 10-8 records this season, but Milan earned the tiebreak advantage for sweeping the Greens. Milan led for the majority of the night and pulled away for good with a 10-0 run late in the third quarter. Sergio Rodriguez netted 22 points in victory and Keifer Sykes finished with 17 points on 3-for-6 three-point shooting in 16 minutes. Riccardo Moraschini scored 10 of his 12 points in the first half and Vladimir Micov scored 11 in victory. Jimmer Fredette paced Panathinaikos with 28 points, DeShaun Thomas scored 15, Dinos Mitoglou had 10, while Nick Calathes dished 11 assists in a losing effort.
