The Panathinaikos U-19 team continued its stride this season behind yet another success. After conquering the U-19 ESKA championship and second place in the U-19 Greek Championship, it was crowned C’ ESKA Men’s Super-champion! The title came through final 88-76 versus AO Ekali, in an encounter held at the Ekali indoor arena.
Panathinaikos was portrayed as the winner early in the encounter. It got to large edges which reached 20 point distances, only to get to final prevalence and the title at final 88-76. The U-19 team’s head coach, Kostas Papadopoulos, slightly after the end of the 2012-13 season at the conquering of the title, stated: “It was a very successful season. It was very significant that we gained titles, but the most important thing is that the boys gained experience and next season we will aim for more. We want to reach even higher”.
