The Euroleague’s CSR program “One Team” - Basketball is Everywhere, where Panathinaikos BSA participates, continued today in the Juvenile Detention at Corinthos.
Michalis Lountzis, became the second "ambassador" of the program, after Giorgos Diamantakos, visited Corinthos, played basketball with the inmates (aged 15-18) and mostly inspired all for cooperation and teamwork. Young guys participated willingly in the program and renewed the appointment with the team next week.
"It's a great social program and I want to congratulate Panathinaikos BC who involved in it. It was a lifetime experience for me," stated Michalis Lountzis and continued:" I was very glad that I met these guys and I wish to gain their freedom and join the community. It is important to be close to our fellow human beings who are in big need. "
The young inmates had their first acquaintance with the program. Panathinaikos will participate with 7 players in eight weeks that will last.
Through its own program «Basketball is everywhere», the Panathinaikos rewards social sensitivity, the value of cooperation and passes multifaceted social messages.
