The Euroleague’s CSR program “One Team” - Basketball is Everywhere, where Panathinaikos BSA participates, continued yesterday in the Juvenile Detention at Corinthos.
Antonis Koniaris, became the forth "ambassador" of the program, after Giorgos Diamantakos, Michalis Lountzis and Giorgos Papagiannis, visited Corinthos, played basketball with the inmates (aged 15-18) and mostly inspired all for cooperation and teamwork. Young guys participated willingly in the program and renewed the appointment with the team next week.
"This is a great social responsibility program “One Team” - Basketball is Everywhere and I feel honored and proud to be part of this with my team. I was glad that I played with the children and spoke with them, " said Anthonis Koniaris.
The young inmates had their first acquaintance with the program. Panathinaikos will participate with 7 players in eight weeks that will last.
Through its own program «Basketball is everywhere», the Panathinaikos rewards social sensitivity, the value of cooperation and passes multifaceted social messages.
