Panathinaikos in Krasnodar

Panathinaikos arrived in Krasnodar, Russia today noon for tomorrow’s Euroleague’s game against Lokomotiv Kuban.

The coach of the team, Aleksandar Djordjevic said: "It is the opening game for us in the 2015-16 Turkish Airlines Euroleague and we will go in Russia to play against a very good and quality team. We respect our opponent and it is sure that we must work hard and play very good on both sides of the court if we want to start with a victory."

Vlado Jankovic noted: "It is our starting game of this year's competition and as always, Panathinaikos begins its obligations with respect to its history, to its opponents and the competition. Turkish Airlines Euroleague is a marathon that excites the fans, who attend high-level games and athletes, too as they face great rivals. Our opponents are very good team and we will play against them with seriousness and respect. We trust our team and we will do everything for a positive start."
