The Euroleague’s CSR program “One Team” - Basketball is Everywhere, where Panathinaikos BSA participates, continued yesterdays morning in the Juvenile Detention at Corinthos.
Nick Calathes, Miroslav Raduljica and Aleksandar Pavlovic visited Corinthos, played basketball with the inmates (aged 15-18) and mostly inspired all for cooperation and teamwork. Young guys participated willingly in the program and renewed the appointment with the team next week.
Through its own program «Basketball is everywhere», the Panathinaikos rewards social sensitivity, the value of cooperation and passes multifaceted social messages.
"It was a very interesting experience for me to be part of the program" Basketball is Everywhere ". It is certainly something extraordinary and yet special. I think it is very important what was informed by employees of Juvenile Detention at Corinthos, that from the day I started the "Basketball is Everywhere program" that last year the children show great interest in basketball and play whenever you have a chance " said Miroslav Rantoulitsa, who is also the official ambassador of the project.
For his part, Nick Kalathis said: "I feel honored and proud to be associated with my team in this important social responsibility program. It was a great pleasure for me that I played with the children and spoke with them."
Finally, Sasha Pavlovic said about his experience: "This is a great social responsibility program and I would like to congratulate Panathinaikos participating in it. I am delighted that I became part of the program playing basketball and talking to these guys. It was a life experience."
