Panathinaikos and Aris will face each other at the Greek Cup Final for the first trophy of the year. Both teams have conquered the title in the past and not just once. Greens have won the title 14 times and Aris 9. The two teams faced each other in a final in 2005. The final was hosted coincidentally in Herakleio. The Greens were the winners edging Aris 72-68. The difference it that in 2014 the final will be at the arena at Dyo Aorakia and not at Lido.
