With the presence of the historical leader of Panathinaikos BC, Pavlos Giannakopoulos and with the president of the club, Dimitris Giannakopoulos, wishing everybody Happy Green Year and health, Panathinaikos BC followed the Greek tradition and "cut a New Year's cake" for good luck.
Everybody sensed the feeling of being a member of a family, which is one of the characteristics of the team. Dimitris Giannakopoulos welcomed all the players, the members of the team and all the employees who were also present. The president of Panathinaikos BC wished everybody health and more success for the clover in 2014.
Pavlos Giannakopoulos who was present along with his wife Despoina, had the chance to speak with old members of the team like Dimitris Diamantidis, Mike Batiste and Antonis Fotsis, who embraced him, since they don't forget that their careers began when he was president.
Also present was Katerina Giannakopoulou, Thanassis' Giannakopoulos daughter, as well as all the players with their families, the coaching stuff, members of the team and the employees of Panathinaikos BC.
The lucky duo of the gathering were Shang Ping and Sotiris Manolopoulos, who found the two coins hidden in the cake according to the Greek tradition. The "secret" is that whoever finds the coin will be lucky throughout the year.
