Panathinaikos AKTOR secured a victory at PAOK Sports Arena, defeating PAOK 96-93 in the second round of the Stoiximan GBL. Kendrick Nunn led the scoring for the Greens with 27 points.
PAOK took the lead in the early stages of the game (11-6 at 4'), but Panathinaikos AKTOR quickly responded and took control of the scoreboard shortly thereafter (14-15 at 6'). The lead exchanged hands several times, with the Greens holding a narrow advantage at the beginning of the second quarter (24-25 at 12’). PAOK, however, managed to pull ahead slightly with a +4 lead (36-32) by the 17th minute.
The first half ended with Panathinaikos AKTOR in front (42-44 at 20’).
At the start of the second half, PAOK surged to a +6 lead (54-48 at 24') and later extended it to +8 (70-62 at 29'). Yet again, Ergin Ataman's squad reacted swiftly, reducing the deficit (72-70 at 32’) and soon reclaiming the lead (75-80 at 35’).
From that point onward, Panathinaikos AKTOR never looked back, maintaining their lead until the final whistle (83-84 at 37', 85-89 at 39') and securing the victory, making it 2-for-2 in the Stoiximan GBL.
