Panathinaikos AKTOR concluded 2024 with another victory, this time against Karditsa Iaponiki (96-72), achieving a perfect 12/12 record in the Stoiximan GBL.
The Greens secured a comfortable lead early on and wrapped up the year on a high note with yet another positive result.
Panathinaikos AKTOR displayed excellent offensive rhythm and efficiency from the very first quarter, initially pulling ahead by seven points (18-11 at 7’) and then extending the lead to eight (26-18 at 9’). The first quarter ended with a seven-point advantage (27-20), with Karditsa Iaponiki staying relatively close until midway through the second period. At that point, Panathinaikos shifted gears, rapidly increasing the margin to +24 (50-26 at 18’) and +27 (56-29) by halftime.
Upon returning from the locker rooms, Ergin Ataman’s players maintained their intensity on offense, as evidenced by the +27 lead (64-37) at the 25-minute mark. Despite the visitors' efforts, the gap never dropped below 20 points. On the contrary, it grew further (89-60 at 34’).
In the end, Panathinaikos AKTOR claimed the win (96-72), completing their Stoiximan GBL campaign in 2024 undefeated.
