Ataman: "We controlled the game"

Following the game, Ergin Ataman stated:

"We started the game with strong defense. In the early stages, we had complete control. However, in the second quarter, our defense relaxed somewhat due to the players coming off the bench, who did not have the same defensive impact. As a result, we missed the opportunity to ‘finish’ the game early. Nevertheless, for the remainder of the match, we maintained control. At times, we played well, and at other times, we were aggressive on defense, which allowed us to score in transition.

A key takeaway from tonight's game is that Kendrick Nunn scored only 4 points and Jerian Grant had 3 points, yet we still managed to reach 95 points overall. This demonstrates our offensive strength. However, we need to improve defensively."

On Kostas Sloukas and Marius Grigonis: "Kostas does not have a serious issue. He simply rested tonight in preparation for the upcoming EuroLeague double-game week. As for Marius, I hope he will be back with us after the Greek Cup. He still needs two to three more weeks for full recovery."
