Panathinaikos BC AKTOR announces the holding of the 6th "Pavlos Giannakopoulos" tournament, in memory of the late legendary president of the club, on September 21, 2024, at the historic Panathenaic Stadium, under the city’s starlight.
Four of the best European clubs will be in Athens, honoring the memory of the historical leader of Panathinaikos, the man who made the Club giant. Pavlos Giannakopoulos led Panathinaikos to win six European Championships, thirteen Greek Championships, nine Greek Cups and an Intercontinental Cup.
On September 21, Anadolu Efes Istanbul, η Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv and Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade responding positively to the invitation of Panathinaikos BC AKTOR, will be in Athens to participate in this great tournament, that takes place to the stadium that witnessed the first Olympic Games.
