Marcus Denmon spoke to paobc.gr a few hours after finalizing his deal with Panathinaikos BC Superfoods.
The American guard expressed his enthusiasm to wear the green jersey and is determined to prove his worth.
“I am very excited to join a great team as Panathinaikos. It’s one of the best teams in Europe, I know everything about my new team and I know they are constantly winning titles”, he said initially and continued: “I want to be a part of Panathinaikos, win titles and I want to thank the club and especially coach Xavi Pascual for giving me the opportunity to achieve that”.
Denmon spoke with admiration about the fans of our team and he showed he knows everything concerning the teams’ history:
“I have watched several games of Panathinaikos. I know it’s history and that the fans are amazing. The atmosphere in OAKA is incredible and I can’t wait to experience it. It is really an honor for me to play for this team and for these fans” he said.
Finally, he promised to work hard and he is determined to succeed: “Working hard is something that I really enjoy and it’s important to me. I will do everything to prove right the people who believed in me. Panathinaikos is a great opportunity for me to show that I can compete in the highest level”.
