Argyris Pedoulakis asked one thing from the young players of Panathinaikos, during the press conference after the game against Aris: To improve.
"It was a game we could use to prepare ourselves for the games to come; To run, to divide the time, resting some of our players. We gave the chance to some of our younger players to play alone, without the old players. Bigger effort is required in this field. It will not be easy, but it's the third time this thing happens and everybody has to improve. I wish Aris all the best in Basket League OPAP. Stephane Lasme had an injury at his thumb since the game against Armani Milano and he couldn't really catch the ball, but I believe that he will be with us on Tuesday".
Vladimir Jankovic stated: "We had two days to prepare ourselves for the game against Aris. We wanted to give our 100% and to play tough. We are looking ahead".
Milan Minic (coach, Aris) stated: "Congratulations to Panathinaikos and to the coach for the victory. It was important for us to play against a tough opponent. I want to thank mr Pedoulakis who, in the second half, let us play a 5 against 5 game. There is no better practice than to play like this against a Euroleague team. We passed the ball well and reaching the 24'' we finished our offenses under the basket. I wish all the best to Panathinaikos in Euroleague".
Kostas Mitoglou (player, Aris): "Congratulations to Panathinaikos. We know how big of a team it is. We came here to be competitive. We have to continue working tough".
