Panathinaikos had to play without Ramel Curry (bone edema) and Stephane Lasme. He was injured during the game against EA7 Emporio Armani Milano at the thumb and the decision was not to play today.
The game brought yet another record for Dimitris Diamantidis. He got his first defensive rebound at 14'10''and he became the 2nd all time leader in defensive rebounds in Basket League OPAP. First in the list is Kostas Tsartsaris (1505), Diamantidis is second (1431) and Stojan Vrankovic is third (1429).

Panathinaikos got off to a good star (8-2, 2'43''). Aris reacted and got the lead by 4 (10-14, 6'06''). Greens came back with an 8-0, to make it 18-14 (9'30''). The margin got to 10 points (30-20, 12'27'') behind a three pointer by Vladimir Jankovic. Another three point shot, this time by Mike Bramos made it 20 point game (50-30, 22'45''). The lead extended to 24 (54-30 25', 58-34 27'10''). During the fourth quarter Argyris Pedoulakis used a line up with Pappas, Jankovic, Charalampopoulos, Diamantakos (respectively 24, 24, 17, 19 years old) and Wright. The margin dropped to 12 and the game was sealed by the final 71-59.
