4th Cup in the row

Panathinaikos, or in another way, title collector did it again. The team of Zelimir Obradovic in the Elliniko Stadium beat Olympiacos with 81-79 and took his 11th Cup in his history and the 4th in the row.

All the players of our team were excellent and Spanoulis was top scorer with 20 points. Marvelous appearance from Kostas Tsartsaris who with the 14 points that he scored (with 4 three points shots) he seemed that his absence didn’t changed him at all. We have to mention, also, that Kostas Tsartsaris was the most valuable player of the final.

Both teams began the final very nervous and after the first ten minutes of the game score was 12-12. Tsartsaris in the second period was very good, and help a lot with Jasikevicius to take the lead. At the halftime Panathinaikos was ahead with 34-30.

In the third period Panathinaikos was “killing” from the line of the three point and took a 10 point difference, 50-60, after the end of the third period.

At the end players of our team they may thought that the game was finished and Olympiacos tried to turn the game upside down. Greer was fantastic but he couldn’t beat Panathinaikos.
