A stroll in the park for Panathinaikos, this afternoon at the OAKA indoor stadium, in game 6 of the Greek League, across from Maroussi. The greens prevailed by the lean 102-65, final game score.

Obradovic lined up Diamantidis, Zoubos, Perperoglou, Fotsis, Batiste to start off in the second half, Zoubos single-handedly forming +30 an edge for the clover behind a pair of charity shots plus a trifecta (60-39, 21’30’’). The greens climbed to +33 (78-45, 28’40’’) in the third quarter, never loosing rhythm, continuing to perform with the equivalent passion and eagerness. Milenko Tepic chipped in to pricing the green advantage at +35 (92-57, 36’30’’), Kostas Kaimakoglou scoring the centurion bucket at 39’ (100-65), Ian Vougioukas naming the score at its last figures 102-65.

*Only player who did not compete was Kostas Tsartsaris, whom Zeljko Obradovic preferred to keep benched in order to offer him rest, since he had been troubled the last few days by a light sprain, suffered in Thursday’s encounter across from Valencia.

*Aleks Maric was sidelined for the clash with Maroussi. The 12th player was Fotis Zoubos. The third youngster in a row to be included in the Panathinaikos’s roster this season alongside Yannis Karamalegos (19/9/1994) and Paris Maragos (19/1/1994). Zoubos, an international player who competes with the youth leagues, was born on 4/4/1993 and today was his first time ever to compete in the Men’s Greek League.
