After the game against Turow, Dusko Ivanovic said:
"We knew that it would be a difficult game because Turow is a good team that can have five shooters on the court. Panathinaikos controlled the game until the third quarter, but after that they started to run and we stopped doing so. Fortunately, we played some good defense in the last minutes and got the win. It is too early to play at the level we want to reach, but I hope that as time goes by we will improve our game. Diamantidis has the experience and the solutions to play in the last minutes and be a key factor both on defense and offense. Regarding AJ Slaughter it is better to use him as a shooting guard than have him at the point, because in such a case he lacks energy and his quality to make big shots and play one-on-one."
The coach of polish team Miodrag Rajkovic said: "First of all I want to congratulate Panathinaikos for their first win in the 2014-15 Euroleague. But I want also to congratulate my team for the game we played here and the good way we represented Poland. Several things decided the result. First is that Panathinaikos has a deeper bench, second is the free throws we missed. If you want to win in such a game, you have to score from the foul line. We showed too much of respect to Panathinaikos and I believe that in the next games we will play better and achieve something good in the competition."
