Dusko Ivanovic said after the game against FC Bayern: “It was a very important win because we advance to the Top 16 and also because of the way we won. We played great defense, we were patient and we moved well the ball. I am very satisfied that we will be in the Top 16. My players deserve it because they are working hard. We are moving on, game by game.”
Svetislav Pesic noted: “Congratulations to Panathinaikos for the win. The last three minutes of the second quarter Panathinaikos turned the 31-31 into 46-33 with three consecutive three point shots. We didn't respond to that and I don't understand why that happened.”
