Fenerbahce Ulker held on late to edge Panathinaikos 77-72 for Euroleague Top16,Day 4, at Ulker Sports Arena.
Fenerbahce Ulker got the lead first (12-6, 5'). At the same time Panathinaikos had 0/7 3 point shots. The first quarter ended 23-11 (10'). The hosts led the way throughout the second quarter. Loukas Mavrokefalidis came from the bench to change everything, as he almost singlehandedly led Panathinaikos from being 14 points down (49-35, 25') to being 5 points down (49-44 26'32'', 55-50 29'12'').
Dimitris Diamantidis was the one to lead the way in the fourth quarter. Two three pointers and an assist for an alley oop by Stephane Lasme led to 58-58 (34'32'').
