Panathinaikos is heading to Konstantinoupoli for the game against Anadolu Efes (14/3, 20.00) for Euroleague, Top16, Round 10. The Greens will play without the injured James Gist and Ramel Curry.
Fragkiskos Alvertis spoke about the game in Turkey: "All games are difficult, especially in Euroleague and especially when you have to play away from home. Anadolu Efes performs better than it did in the beginning of the season. Our goal is the victory and we'll do our best to get back on track in order to claim a spot in the play offs. I believe that the rhythm is the big key of the game. We cannot let our opponents enforce their rhythm and play in a way that suits them in their home court. We have to enforce our rhythm".
Mike Bramos stated about the game: "Efes is a team that has a lot of quality player. They like to play fast and they have good shooters and some big players on the inside. It will be important for us to play with a lot of energy, a lot of passion and we have to try more that we did in our last couple of games. It will be our first game with the new coach. It's a different voice in practice. We know it's tough to change too many things in such a short time. We'll try to change some little things for the time being and we have in mind that we have to play with more energy and be more determined".
