Tomorrow (3/9) the preparation period of Panathinaikos in Karpenissi, Central Greece, will come to an end. The schedule includes one training session in the morning and then departure for Athens, where the team will continue the hard work. Today (2/9) the Greens trained twice (morning-afternoon), but Yorgos Diamantakos didn’t make it and his name was marked on the absentee list. The Clover’s young center felt discomfort in his foot, so he returned to Athens in order to have an MRI scan, which was clear. The discomfort is due to the intense training and the player is receiving a treatment with anti-inflammatory drugs. On Friday he is expected to be at Dusko Ivanovic’s disposal –– the head coach will be in Athens tomorrow (3/9).
