Mavrokefalidis, Charalambopoulos, Slaughter Out

Yesterday’s (7/9) friendly game against Apollon Patras ended with two injury problems for Panathinaikos. In particular, Loukas Mavrokefalidis and Vassilis Charalambopoulos finished the match with quadriceps problems caused by the physical game of their opponents and, today, they had an MRI scan. Both were diagnosed with grade 1 quadriceps strain and they’ll be out for 10-15 days. Also, A.J. Slaughter didn’t complete today’s (8/9) training session, because he felt quadriceps discomfort ––tomorrow he will undergo an MRI scan–– while Antonis Fotsis, who suffers low back and hip pain, continued his treatment. In contrast, Dimitris Diamantidis is back to normal training having recovered from the knee discomfort.
