Statements to the press:
Dusko Ivanovic: “We'll See Our Level of Performance”
“Up to now we’ve played two training matches against Apollon Patras without the presence of our fans. We’ve seen some things about the team. In the last match our younger players did very well. Now we’re going to participate in our first tournament and play against Euroleague-level teams. It’s a very good opportunity for us to see our level of performance this particular period.”
Nikos Pappas: “Good Test for Us”
“We’re going to France to play in a pre-season tournament. These games will be a very good test for us as we’ll see what we can do at the moment as well as the adjustment of the new players.”
DeMarcus Nelson: “Improvement Match by Match”
“It’ll be a very demanding tournament. We’ll play against very good teams in one match per day. It is important for us to gain experience on the court, because we are a new team. All this period we’ve been training very hard and now it’s time for us to apply what we’ve done so far in match conditions of high competition. Our goal is to play a game based on certain principles and to improve our performance match by match.”
