James Gist waited Panathinaikos team at the airport in Zurich, where he had arrived sooner, and subsequently incorporated into the team, traveled to the French city of Mulhouse for the tournament starting on Friday (12/9).
The American forward traveled from Washington via Reykjavik and he arrived earlier from Panathinaikos team at the airport in Zurich. Now with the addition of James Gkist, coach Dusko Ivanovic has 12 players available for the tournament in Mulhouse.
"I am grateful to the people of Panathinaikos who understood that I had a personal matter to set up in my home and gave me permission and I indicated that I would have the time necessary to process my case," said James Gkist.
"Due to some emergency I had to stay some days more, but again there was understanding of Panathinaikos and so I feel obliged to thank everyone. Now I'm here, in my team and I am happy to meet my colleagues, my teammates and my coaches. I'm totally focused on the obligations of Panathinaikos. Can not wait to get on the court with my team”
