Dusko Ivanovic, James Gist and Julian Wright shared their thoughts about tomorrow’s match with Armani Milan at OAKA (7/11, 21:45 local time).
Panathinaikos head coach praised Armani Milan for the very good basketball they play both in the Euroleague and the Italian League. He noted that defense will be the key to winning the match and called for the fans’ support.
Wright: “We Must Win”
Julian Wright acknowledged that Armani Milan is a very strong and competitive team and suggested that Panathinaikos should be very tough in the defense in order to get the win. As for the offense, he said they know that long shots are not always the solution and they are prepared in order to put the ball in the paint and score.
Gist: “Unbeatable at home”
James Gist said that all the guest teams want to win Panathinaikos at OAKA, so Panathinaikos players have to always do their best. He and his teammates want to continue to be unbeatable at home and make another good performance in the Euroleague so far.
