The security measures for the game against Olympiacos

A meeting regarding the security measures in the game against Olympiakos (20/11, 19:00) took place at the OAKA today in the presence of representatives from the two clubs, the OAKA police department, HEBA (G. Kondylis), and the Standing Committee Against Violence (S.C.A.V.). There will be a total of 17,700 tickets made available for purchase. Olympiakos has asked to close down the pliable tiers 134, 136, and 138, whereas Panathinaikos refused asking for the same measures as last season to be applied; in other words to close down only the first 8 rows of seats. In addition, the pliable tiers 103 and 105 behind Olympiakos’ bench will remain closed, while Olympiakos’ representatives have asked for the same to go for the pliable tiers behind Panathinaikos’ bench; however this is not possible, since these seats are covered by season tickets. There will be a double protective net, covering the section from the officials table to the statistics area, which will also cover Olympiakos’ bench. On behalf of Panathinaikos the meeting was attended by Michalis Georgantis and Giorgos Moireas. The final decisions and measures will be taken in a new meeting that will take place on Friday 18/11(12:00).
