Panathinaikos was at the OAKA tonight too, in view of tomorrow’s game against Kolossos Rhodes in the context of the OPAP BasketLeague 26th competition date. There were absentees in the practice session, as for different reasons each Dimitris Diamantidis, Romain Sato, and Aleks Maric were unable to attend.
During practice Diamantidis felt some pain on the thigh, was subjected to an MRI, which showed a first degree injury on the right leg quadriceps. The “clover’s” captain will not compete tomorrow.
Sato got a leave from the team in order to go to the United States to see his wife who gave birth to their third child just a few days ago. Finally, Maric has been suffering from a simple case of cold since yesterday and it was deemed preferable for him not to complete the entire program.
