Panathinaikos continues on the road of enhancing its roster, this time… behind talent, paying attention to the youngsters on the squad. The Greens signed on Yorgos Diamantakos from Spartiatikos. Diamantakos was born on January 14th, 1995, stands at 2m14 and competes in Center position. He played for Spartiatikos in the cadets academies of the team, but also in the men’s team, in which he managed to assist the team in qualifying onto the top league of the club’s local competing category.
The young center stressed as far as his agreement with Panathinaikos: “It is a great honor for me, coming to such a great club. I will tried to do my best in order to meet expectations. I do not think that I could add more at this very moment in time. It is certainly not something I expected. The thought never even crossed my mind. It was a very positive surprise that made me really, really happy”.
