Panathinaikos’first practice of the 2012-13 season has been set for August 13 at the OAKA arena. In the morning the players will undergo medical exams and in the afternoon training sessions shall begin.
On the 16thof August the team will depart for Karpenisi, where the first part of the preparation will take place. The delegation shall return to Athens on the 29thof August, practices will continue, while in the ensuing period of time preparation friendly encounters will be held. Panathinaikos will play a friendly game in Germany versus Bayern Munich (September 29) then to partake in two tournaments. The first one to be held in Bulgaria (September 14-15), hosting the organizing team Lukoil Academik Sofia, FC Barcelona Regal and KK Crvena Zvesda. The second event shall take place in Rethymno, Crete, Greece (September 21-23). It is the 2nd tournament in memory of Petros Ikonomakis.
