Panathinaikos returned to training sessions and back to the main court of the OAKA arena. The rendezvous was double today after yesterday’s day-off, not without injuries though. On Friday the team will be traveling to Germany , for yet another two preparation games.
The greens upon their return from Rethymno stepped out onto the floor of the main court. During practice, Derwin Kitchen suffered an injury, as he felt some discomfort in his knee and will be undergoing examinations. Sofoklis Schortsanitis got through most of the training, seeming to be getting over the muscle spasms he was experiencing in his lower back. Charis Giannopoulos, who has been experiencing pain in his Achilles tendon, is undergoing therapy and remained sidelined.
Panathinaikos will be departing for Munich Germany , Friday midday (28 September). The team will be facing that very evening (20.00) Bayreuth behind closed doors, whilst on the next day (29 September) it will be battling across from Bayern Munich at the Audi Home arena. The delegation will be returning to Athens on Sunday the 30thof September.
Good news of the day to put a smile on everyone’s face in practice was brought by Fragiskos Alvertis. His wife Ada , gave birth to his second child. Congratulations! It’s a boy (again)!
