Rendezvous at OAKA tomorrow

Back to Greece for Panathinaikos. Tomorrow at 19.00 it will be hosting Rethymno in Basket League OPAP Game 3. The Greens after yesterday’s day off returned to OAKA. Practice was completed only absence being that of Vassilis Xanthopoulos who developed symptoms of a cold and the medical staff suggested rest. The Greek guard’s situation will be re-evaluated tomorrow.

The History gives absolute lead to Panathinaikos as it has 4-for-4 victories in clashes held amongst both teams.

Kostas Tsartsaris and Dimitris Diamantidis are once again in the first line as far as statistical interest. Tsartsaris is only 9 rebounds away from top spot of the respective list, position which is currently occupied by another one of the Greens… Stojan Vrankovic (1429). He needs even less as far as offensive rebounds where only two keep him from flying ahead of Giorgos Karagoutis (728). Diamantidis is missing 10 points in order to catch 3,500 in the HEBA League while by draining 7 good free throws he will be tallying 900 in his career.
