Tonight was a special, a different eve at the indoor OAKA arena. Special Olympics athletes were with us and with the athletes of both teams on court, in views of the THY Euroleague One Team program in collaboration with the teams.
Panathinaikos BC greeted the athletes through the words of Kostas Tsartsaris: “On behalf of Panathinaikos I am proud that we can be part of the One Team program and support integration of communities showing are solidarity this evening alongside the Special Olympics athletes. I request that all relevant to the basketball society get involved in Special Olympics activities and support acceptance of individuals with special needs”.
Applauding was overwhelming especially for the athletes hosted today at the OAKA arena. Applauds they are more than worthy of.
