Ruptured tarsal tunnel for Schortsanitis

Sofoklis Schortsanitis and Kostas Tsartsaris found themselves at the “Hygeia” medical center a few hours after their return from Moscow.

Schortsanitis felt strong pain in the very first play he starred in during the encounter versus Khimki and headed towards the bench. He underwent examinations today. The Greek Center has ruptured his tarsal tunnel and his situation will be re-evaluated after 10 to 15 days.

Tsartsaris, who had felt some discomfort in his lower back in the game across from Khimki received good news from the examinations which he underwent, since apparently no issue exists.

The team returned from Russia at noon and this afternoon had a practice rendezvous at the court. Roko Leni Ukic (pain in the bicep of his left leg) followed a personal program.
