2013 is well in and today in a family atmosphere Panathinaikos BC held its annual traditional cutting of the New Year’s cake at the house of the team’s President, Dimitris Giannakopoulos. All players were present, their families, the technical staff, all who are close to the team and the office’s employees. The BC’s President was the one to cut the cake wishing all “health and successes” to all present, the Panathinaikos hymn playing in the background. The two lucky coins that are baked in the cake (as Greek tradition would have it) were recovered by Fotis Lamprou (head account) and Marianna Georganti, Michalis Georganti’s daughter.
