Roko Leni Ukic was named MVP of the encounter. The Croatian guard committed his best performance yet, wearing the Panathinaikos jersey and was voted most valuable player of the Greek Cup Final accumulating an impressive number of valets. He was followed by Diamantidis in the category, player however who was top scorer of the event.
Ukic stated at the Press Conference: “It was an amazing win. Every game across from Olympiacos is special and tough. We performed really well in the first half, but in the second half we were not focused and Olympiacos which is a quality team, shifted things on the floor to its advantage. Finally, as we came out with some great plays in both back and frontcourt, we managed to get to the win which we more than deserved”.
