The Panathinaikos BC President, Dimitris Giannakopoulos met this morning with the sports judge of HEBA, Dimitris Foukas, with whom he had a discussion of only a few minutes. After the meeting the sports judge stressed: “We have summoned the Presidents of Panathinaikos and Olympiacos BC on two different dates, concerning all which has taken place the last few days. What we aspire towards is to keep a lower key tone, bearing in mind the sport’s best interest and to be able to come to a form of communication so as to avoid such incidents and to unwind the whole tension. Of course, the Panathinaikos BC’s announcement made yesterday, is recognized as a move in the correct direction. I am pleased in the outcome of this first meeting for the reason it took place.
