Panathinaikos will be hosting Alba Berlin in THY Euroleague Top16 Game 11 on Friday (March 15, 21.00). Issues did not fail to arise during preparation, since yesterday Sofoklis Schortsanitis (injured right hand thumb) and Gaios Skordilis (ankle sprain) were absent from practice. Schortsanitis followed a personal training session today, while Skordilis returned to a normal training pace this evening.

*Jonas Maciulis remained last week the only Panathinaikos player to have enjoyed a starter position in all of the team’s Euroleague games this season. The Lithuanian forward made his season high point accumulation against Alba Berlin, tallying 28 points (6-for-8 threes).
*Dimitris Diamantidis is only 3 blocked shots shy of 100 in his Euroleague career. He will be the first guard ever to reach such a number. He has also made at least one triple in his last five games of the league and in 9-out of-10 of his last games.
