Panathinaikos is getting ready for the clash versus CSKA Moscow, with which it will be curtains in the Top16 round for the Greens, before the next step, participation in the playoffs. Tonight’s practice was completed behind no absences and the preparation for the battle against the Russian team (April 4, 21.45) will continue tomorrow.

Jonas Maciulis at the Top16 finale remains the one and only player to have been present on the Panathinaikos’ starters in all Euroleague games given this season. The Lithuanian forward and Mike Bramos are also the only Panathinaikos players to have competed in all the games.
Maciulis continues to have a great… relationship with three point shots. He has made at least 1 in 13-out of-14 of his last Euroleague games. The most important feature though is his shooting range in this department which is 50% (35-for-70).
Dimitris Diamantidis got even closer to second place on the Euroleague all-time list of players in the assist category. He has dished 788 and is only 10 shy of Pablo Prigioni.
The Panathinaikos captain is 2 blocked shots away from 100; something that will make him, the first guard ever to have reached such a number. Also, he has made at least one three in 8 consecutive games and in 12-out of-13 of his last ones.
A triple away from reaching 100 in his Euroleague career is Roko Leni Ukic. The distance from 100 in the respective category for Kostas Tsartsaris is 2 valid three point shots.
Stephane Lasme continues to lead Euroleague in blocked shots with 2.05 per game. He has at least one block in 7 consecutive games and in 11-out of-12 of his last.

Sofoklis Schortsanitis has been teammates with Milos Teodosic and Zoran Erceg in Olympiacos.
Panathinaikos and CSKA Moscow have met up in five Euroleague Final Fours. In the two finals back in 2007 and 2009 the clover nailed the title, while in the 2012 Istanbul semi, victory went to the Russians.
Micov and Vassilis Xanthopoulos have been teammates in Panionios (2007-08).
