Panathinaikos BC announces the one year agreement with Montenegrian player, Aleksandar Pavlovic.
“I am looking forward to come in Athens and play for Panathinaikos” said Pavlovic. “When coach Djordjevic called me, I didn’t think it twice! We agreed from the first time we talked, it was an easy decision”.
The Montenegrian player also added: “I am very happy because I will play for a giant team, with great history, big players and also because I will play for coach Djordjevic. He was a great player and he is a great coach. Also I am happy because Panathinaikos has great fans, they are creating great atmosphere in every game. They are like the fans of Partizan, they lov their team. I will do everything not to disappoint them. I know very well that next season I will play for a team that gives me the opportunity to fight for the Euroleague and that’s why I am so happy”.
Bio
Aleksandar "Sasha" Pavlovic was born on November 15, 1983 and he plays at the small forward and shooting guard positions. Pavlović was selected by the Utah Jazz with the 19th pick in the 2003 NBA draft. After that he played for Cleveland Cavaliers (2004-09), Minnesota Timberwolves (2009-10), Dallas Mavericks (2010), New Orelans Pelicans (2010-11), Boston Celtics (2010-2011 και 2011-12) and Portland Blazers (2012-13).
