"It is with great pleasure and pride that the Board of Panathinaikos AO announces its decision to name the indoor gym of the Alexandras Avenue to "Pavlos Giannakopoulos' to honor the leading factor of our association.

Panathinaikos Amateur honoring the values and contribution of Pavlos Giannakopoulos and that action is a minimum tribute to the man who led Panathinaikos to the top.

It is a decision that we have taken about a year ago and we were just looking for an appropriate occasion to formalize.

The event on Wednesday, September 23 is the ideal case for Pavlos Giannakopoulos to be honored with the appropriate luminance”.
